Potential Track Day

I have been exploring potential track events.  Apex Driving Academy has events at Texas Motorsport Ranch.  Go to apexdrivingacademy.com to check out their events, dates, facility, etc.  Unfortunately, their scheduled clinics fill up very quickly.  I got signed up for their May 10 event but there are very few slots remaining.  I am in contact with them and am trying to arrange a day just for our club.  We need at least 25 participants for this to happen.  If you have any interest, please contact me and let me know so I can get an idea of how to proceed.

Thanks.

Andrew

Re: Potential Track Day

I spoke with the owner of Apex this afternoon.  He has a potential opening on June 14.  He said that he would not be able to provide a full contingent of instructors (they typically provide one instructor per car) but would have enough to rotate through each car during the day.  The first runs of the day would be lead / follow and would then open up to allow us to run.  Further, he said that they have an FM broadcast capability and can communicate with us over our car radios,  This would run approximately $185.  He is working to confirm this date's availability.  Again, we would need a minimum of 25 participants.  Our other option would be to wait until the fall.  He would then provide us with his regular program and one instructor per car.  The cost would be $205.

Again, if you would like more information on the program and facilities go to  apexdrivingacademy.com

If you have any interest, attach a thread and let us know.
